Festive Fruit Punch

Serves 12

  • 1 can (6 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 1 can (6 oz) frozen pineapple juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 can (6 oz) orange or tangerine juice concentrate, thawed
  • 5 cups water
  • 2 bottles (29 oz each) ginger ale, chilled
  • ice cubes
  • kiwi slices
  • orange curls
  • strawberry slices
  • fresh mint sprigs
  1. To make the punch, in a punch bowl, mix lemonade, pineapple juice and orange juice concentrates and water.  Blend well.
  2. Add chilled ginger ale and ice cubes just before serving.
  3. Make the fruit garnishes: Using a peeler score stripes on the kiwi, from top to bottom, all the way around the fruit at about 1/8″ intervals; cut kiwi into 1/4″ slices.  Make orange curls by using a zester to remove peel in a circular motion from to bottom.  Try to cut only the top layer of peel, avoiding the white, bitter pith underneath.  Garnish the punch with the kiwi, orange curls, strawberry slices and mint.
